I'm Andi Bernstein, founder of Beyond Accepted.After 25 years as a journalist, I know how to dig for the details others miss. Now I put those skills to work as a college counselor — helping students uncover not just whether a school looks good on paper, but whether it's actually the right fit for them. Plus, I make a pretty great writing coach for those college essays!I hold a master's degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication, and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of La Verne, where I was a first-gen college student.I am currently earning my certificate in College Consulting from UCLA Extension. I am also a volunteer mentor with The Fair Opportunity Project.
